1991 Specialized Stumpy Gravel Build

I’ve wanted an old Stumpy gravel build for a few years now, probably because this was my first *real* mountain bike, and I have been thinking of the days of riding around Maine at nights when I was off duty in the Navy. There is a simple elegance to the frame design, and the thing climbed like a beast. It took a bit of time, and I had a LOT of help. Below are some shots of “Gandalf”.
